HCPAC Nite at the Races

We are excited to host our Summer family-friendly Nite at the Races on JUne 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:30 PM! Nite at the Races are audience-participation, fundraising events, where actual races are shown to the audience to recreate the atmosphere of being at the race track. The HCPAC Nite at the Races will not be used for illegal gambling. Only HCPAC Funny Money will be accepted at the event to bet on horses, make purchases and enter raffle drawings.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Pre-purchased tickets are $25 per adult and $15 per student. TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED HERE. Each ticket holder will receive $10 in Funny Money. Additional Funny Money will be available for purchase. A pasta dinner is included in the ticket price.
  2. Individuals, organizations and businesses may “purchase” a race horse for $7. PURCHASE FORM IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. In exchange they get to name the horse & jockey and their name/business or organization is named in the race program as the owner. The owner of the winning horse and jockey for each race will win a race trophy.
  3. Individuals, organizations and businesses have the opportunity to be an event or race trophy sponsor. SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION IS LOCATED HERE.
  4. Guests will receive a race program when they arrive at the event. Using their funny money they may place “bets” on any horse they chose. Winning ticket holders will proceed to the cashier to collect their Funny Money winnings.
  5. Throughout the evening guests will also have the opportunity to use their Funny Money to make purchases at the Derby General Store, purchase concession snacks & drinks, raffle basket tickets and Mocktails.
