This privacy policy covers Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center and its website, www.thehcpac.org.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you voluntarily enter your information, such as when you register for an account on our site, request to receive our newsletter, purchase theatre tickets, make an online donation or fill out an online audition form. When registering on our site, and as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, street address, e-mail address and other necessary information.

If you fill out an audition form or other form for yourself or your child, we will ask for additional personal data needed to conduct our auditions. We will store the data provided for our records. However, you may visit our site anonymously. If you prefer, you may fill out an audition form on paper rather than online.

When you purchase theatre tickets or make a donation, our site transfers your name, street address and email address to PayPal. PayPal collects financial data such as a credit card number or bank account information from you in order to complete the transaction. However we do not receive any financial data back from PayPal except for a payment confirmation code. Please contact PayPal for information about their privacy policies.

Our website does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information to be accessed by others. Our website does allow users to post information about themselves on third party sites including Facebook.com and Google.com. Use of these links is entirely voluntary for the user. HCPAC is not responsible for any information posted on those sites, or for any privacy practices or content of such web sites.

Our website uses Google Analytics to gather statistical information about how visitors use the site.  No personally identifiable information is gathered in this process.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies, except a “session cookie”, which is only used to remember whether you have logged in as you move from one page to another on the site. Session cookies expire within a few minutes of your leaving the site. No personal information is stored in cookies.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We will never sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information for commercial purposes. All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are required to respect the confidentiality of our visitors’ personal data.

HCPAC will cooperate with law enforcement officials in the investigation and prosecution of unlawful activity. If we receive a warrant or subpoena for user information, we may disclose requested records to law enforcement authorities or outside parties seeking information through the legal process.
