Students in grades K-8 will love playing different roles in our shows each week! This year, there will be a chance not only to be cast as an actor but your student could also be cast as a Stage Manager or Assistant Director and get real experience on what it is like to be on the production team! Previous theatrical experience is not necessary.
Summer Camp will be held on the HCPAC campus, Monday through Friday weekly from 9:00AM-4:00PM with the camp production showcase held on each Friday afternoon at 4:00PM.
HCPAC Theater Camps offer great opportunities for students to explore creating character(s), memorizing lines, or even assistant directing a show. Students who attend HCPAC theater camps more fully develop key life skills such as oral communication, teamwork, commitment, self-discipline and healthy self-image(s) as they work together with other students to produce the end-of-camp production.
Registration is Closed
Each of our high school summer camps are a two-week immersion program designed for students in grades 7-12. Each two week camp will be spent not only preparing for the end of camp performance but also participating in theatrical workshops which will help train students for the STAGE of life. Some of the areas of focus will be: oral communication skills, creative problem solving, motivation and commitment, working cooperatively and independently, memorization techniques, time-budgeting, learning quickly, adaptability and flexibility, working under pressure, concentration, leadership and self-esteem, acceptance of disappointment and the ability to bounce back.
Previous experience is not necessary to be a part of this immersive program. We want students to have a fun time getting involved in theater whether it’s their first time or their hundred and first time.
