PRESS RELEASE 

MIDDLETOWN, PA (February 3, 2019) – Inspired by the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical and the Universal Pictures’ cult classic movie that starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu JR  is a moving, electrifying tale of endless fun that will keep audiences in stitches while the original, legendary chart-topping tunes lift them out of their seats, and the cast roller skates in front of them. Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center (HCPAC) announces a casting call for Xanadu JR. 

Dozens of performers are needed to bring Xanadu JR to the HCPAC stage. Open auditions for performers in 3rd grade thru 9th grade will be held on the HCPAC campus on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30PM, Saturday, February 9 at 9:30AM and Wednesday, February 13 at 6:30PM. 

Performers should plan to attend one of the audition dates where they will act, sing and dance to scenes from the show. There is no need to prepare anything for the audition. Everyone that auditions will be cast in the show. For more information on our audition process visit www.thehcpac.org. Performances are May 10, 11 & 12.  

Typical rehearsal schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9PM and Saturdays from 12-4PM.

Saturday, February 9 at 9:30AM
Wednesday, February 13 at 6:30PM 

Callback Date, Time: 
Saturday, February 16 at 1:30PM
