Preschool Drama Dance Classes
Preschool Drama Class

Ages 3-5 (must be potty trained)
Wednesdays 6:00-6:45 PM
March 15-June 14, 2023

Cost: $120 per student

The preschool drama class will meet once a week to explore the world of theater. Students, ages 3-5, will be encouraged to use their imaginations as we play and learn. In class, we will play games, sing, dance, act, practice projecting our voices and even be cast as animal characters in HCPAC Youth’s production of Swiss Family Robinson.

The preschool drama class will attend Swiss Family Robinson’s final dress rehearsal on June 22 and perform onstage with the cast of Swiss Family Robinson on June 23, 24 and 25.

Preschool Movement Class

Ages 3-5 (must be potty trained)
Tuesdays 6:00-6:45 PM
February 21-May 9, 2023*

Cost: $90 per student

Preschool students will enjoy this playful and creative class as they foster a love of movement. The focus is on fun and imagination while learning muscle control and coordination in a positive and fun environment. Class participants will perform at our Mother’s Day Cabaret on Saturday, May 13th at 6:30 PM.

*Dress rehearsals will be added to the class schedule to prepare for the cabaret.

Beginner Tap Class

Grades K-6
Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 PM
February 28-May 9, 2023*

Cost: $90 per student

Does your student love making noise with their feet? If so, this class is for them. In this 12 week beginner class, students will learn how different parts of their feet make different sounds while they work on tap movements and dance combos. Class participants will perform at our Mother’s Day Cabaret on Saturday, May 13th at 6:30 PM.

*Dress rehearsals will be added to the class schedule to prepare for the cabaret.

I have read the Production Rehearsals, Policies and Promises of HCPAC and have reviewed them with all student members in my household. I/we promise our commitment to faithfully uphold the guidelines set forth. I/we acknowledge the failure of myself or my student members to follow through on any of these promises may jeopardize my/our involvement in this or subsequent productions.

I shall indemnify and hold HCPAC harmless from any liability imposed upon HCPAC, adjudicated or otherwise, by virtue of any personal injury, illness or property damage arising from any use of the premises on the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center by me, my agents and invitees, or by any acts done thereon by me, my agents and invitees, including court costs and counsel fees.

Media Release Authorization: I understand that by participating in the programming at Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center, I give Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center my permission to use a photograph or video of me/my child publicly to promote the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center. I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, t-shirts and social media. I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
