This Patrots Day weekend, the Victory Players company of 7th Grade to Adult performers will present 1776. Witness the birth of a nation as our forefathers struggle to craft the Declaration of Independence in the heart of the Revolutionary War. 1776 is a comedic, insightful, and compelling drama that will put human faces on the pages of history as we see the men (and women) behind these national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, charming, often petty, and ultimately noble figures determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation. Performed in modern dress with a gender- and race-blind cast, our performers bring a contemporary presentation to this classic play.
